Exodus - Cheesy Movie

I have just finished reading the book EXODUS which was excellent. However the move is another story. The director took gross liberties and like most movies of its time in the 60s, sugarcoated the truth. Why couldn't they have used someone else instead of Eve St Marie? I felt her acting wasn't even convincing. If someone really wanted to tell the story of Exodus, then they should have made it into a TV miniseries. Because a lot of elements were left out of the movie

Exodus: Educational Film

Exodus is an extremely educational film. There is not enough awareness on the history of Israel, and this illuminates what many young teens in our modern day world did not know. From the strugggle to arrive in Isreal, untill the breaking of the prison, this offers much information on the Hagganah and Irgun. The emotional sidelines add to the thrill of the movie. It is truly a very educational film.
