Descending ever deeper into paranoia and panic, they now sense that when they left the woods, they didn't leave alone. Is 'Book of Shadows' scarier than the original? No way. Is it even scary at all? Not really. Its fun... plain and simple. The acting is just fine and the direction and cinematography are execptional.--Ted Geoghegan (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
No matter how many times I watch the film it's still a little confusing....but in a good way. There are so many explanations as to what actually happens in the end.--Ian Buttonn (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Obviously made on the quick to cash-in on the surprise success of the original, this sequel stumbles quite badly and is worthy of being the flop it turned out to be in theatres. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Through wonderfully grimy, historically evocative sets, autumnal colors, and muted directing, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 maintains a creepy, involving atmosphere from beginning to end. It's a shame that other aspects of the film--like, say, the acting and some aspects of the writing--don't always support its attempts at being outwardly interesting. 78/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
What a disappointment. This one almost ranks down there with "Exorcist 2" as greatest horror letdown in history.-- (eSplatter.com)

It's really unfortunite that every single person hated this film. I loved it. I saw it opening day and my mind was f*cked beyond belief. I didn't know what to think. --Zaero (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
I thought this was better than the original film, but still wasn't good enough to get a higher rating. Had some interesting parts, but slow in others -- it could have been a lot better. See this film if you're bored. I don't really recommend seeing it ifyou're a fan of the original though. 5/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
