Elizabeth Hurley in Serving Sara (2002)

ELIZABETH HURLEY(Sara Moore) began her career as an actress before becoming a successful model and producer. Well-known for her role in the original hit comedy, "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," she most recently played the Devil in "Bedazzled," opposite Brendan Fraser. In addition, she has two new upcoming movies: "The Weight of Water," with Sean Penn, and "Double Whammy," with Denis Leary. Hurley has appeared in such features as "EDtv," "Permanent Midnight" and "My Favorite Martian," and she made a cameo appearance in the sequel "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me."

Concurrent with her acting career, Hurley set up Simian Films with Hugh Grant. They have production deals with Castle Rock Entertainment and Intermedia. She developed and produced "Extreme Measures," a thriller starring Hugh Grant and Gene Hackman, as well as "Mickey Blue Eyes," a romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant, Jeanne Tripplehorn and James Caan.

Hurley initially worked in the theatre after studying dance and drama at the London Studio Centre, and she made her screen debut in 1987, in "Aria," directed by Bruce Beresford. She then landed her first starring role opposite Hugh Grant in the Spanish feature film, "Remando al Viento." This was followed by the title role in "Christabel," a major BBC drama serial written by the late Dennis Potter, about the true story of an Englishwoman married to a German during the Nazi regime.

For the next few years Hurley worked extensively, making feature films and television movies including "El Largo Invierno" with Jean Rochefort, "The Skipper" with Jurgen Prochnow, "Sharpe’s Enemy" with Sean Bean, "The Orchid House" and "Mad Dogs and Englishmen."

American audiences first saw her in "Passenger 57" opposite Wesley Snipes, followed by the role of Delilah, opposite Dennis Hopper, in Nicolas Roeg’s "Samson & Delilah," and "Dangerous Ground," with Ice Cube.

In addition to acting and producing, Hurley is in her eighth year representing Estee Lauder.
