Plot: The blood coursing through Blade's veins is half-human, half-vampire, the result of a vampire attack on his mother before he was born. Blade has been working with Scud, a brilliant slacker and inventor of devious weapons, to destroy any vampires that cross their paths. The hunt for vampires takes them to the lair of Blade's sworn enemy - Vampire overlord Damaskinos, who now needs Blade to deal with a far more deadly threat than either has ever faced before. Nyssa Damaskinos's strong and darkly exotic daughter, and her co-warrior, Asad come to meet Blade to formalise a truce. They will have to work together to stop the Reapers, a Super race of vampires. A mutated form of their vampire predecessors, the Reapers are infiltrating humanity and vampires alike with the reaper strain that will leave thousands of carriers roaming the streets in just a short time. The infected trail leads back to Patient Zero, Jared Nomak and Blade must destroy him before he and the Reapers destroy the human race.In Guillermo del Toro's BLADE II, Wesley Snipes reprises his role as the part-human, part-vampire superhero based on the comic book character. Following a trail of blood that leads to Prague, Blade (aka the Daywalker) slays a legion of bloodsuckers in the search for his abducted mentor,

Blade 2 is a film that you walk in expecting a good a time, and that's exactly what I was anticipating; nothing but mindless fun. The opening scene had good encouragement toward that factor, as it doesn't take long before the first big exciting fights take place, but after that the film loses its touch for a long period of time, making a come-back at the end with an exhilarating concluding twenty or so minutes. C+--Lee Tistaert (Lee's Movie Info)
I want to fashion a black leather jacket out of a bath towel and bounce off the couch cushions, swinging a broomstick at imaginary bloodsuckers until my fingers bleed. I hate vampires, and The Orange fantasizes about killing them each and everyday. This movie is my vicarious drug. --B. Alan Orange (MovieWeb)
No amount of blood and disintegrating vampire cadavers can obscure this movie’s lack of ideas. 53/100--Brian Webster (Apollo Guide)
A sequel that stands perfectly well on its own, this benefits greatly from the presence of Mexican horror maestro director Guillermo del Toro, delivering action, blood, gore and guts in crowd-pleasing fashion. --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
Having director Guillermo Del Toro helps as he's quite a visual pro (there's some really striking shots here) and there's some cool effects (I love the splitting face of the 'Reapers'); but it seems they've gone and created their own vampire 'universe' only I just don't find it that interesting. ... If you liked the original it's more of the same - I myself found it mostly passable. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
"Blade 2" is nonetheless a major triumph, combining martial arts, horror, and comic books into a film that doesn't let up for a second.-- (eSplatter.com)

Overall, I really had a great time watching the film, and think it was done very well. I highly recommend checking this flick out, it holds it own and entertains from start to finish. --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
Not as good as the first movie, but was still enjoyable. The special effects were good, but unneeded in parts. Check this out if you're a fan of Blade. 7/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
A story that's got some floors but in the whole it flows nicely, twisting and turning frequently without losing the audience. 6/10--Alan Hoose (thefilmasylum.com)
