External Reviews

The film reveals two things. First, these multi-millionaires didn't pour a lot of their salaries into the movie - it looks cheap and amateurish...Secondly, hitting a home run in baseball is a lot different than hitting one at the box office. Dirty Deeds is the movie equivalent of a three-pitch whiff. 

While not the most original movie ever made, "Dirty Deeds" eventually shows there's some substance to it's style.

...Deeds remains funny and entertaining throughout. Charming, with just the right amount of sexual energy. If nothing else, I would like to see this film provide more work for Ventimiglia, who I think definitely has the on-screen personality of a star.  --Michael Sheridan
