Plot: Paul (Jeremy Davies) is an idealistic young American filmmaker working in Paris as an editor on Dragonfly, a floundering sci-fi B-movie starring gorgeous actress Valentine (Angela Lindvall) as a sexy double agent. His true passion, though, is his own work-in-progress — an earnest, idealistic cinema verite portrait of his daily life, recording thoughts and confessionals in the small apartment he shares with his flight attendant girlfriend, Marlene (Elodie Bouchez).Eventually, when Dragonfly loses its director and its frantic producer is scrambling for a replacement, Paul unexpectedly gets the chance to direct the film himself. This proves to be difficult, however, when the line between his fantasy life and reality becomes blurred. As filming continues and Paul searches for the right ending to Dragonfly, he falls in love with Valentine and finds himself wondering what ending he’ll have for himself.
