 While not reaching the peak of Hitchcock's 1960 classic Psycho; this is still a grandly acted, finely directed and tense flick that at times is talky but has enough suspense and, at times gory, bird attacks to make you forget about those dull stretches.The awesome finale is worth waiting for.
