Genre: Comedy
Plot: Barry Dingle (Barry Shurchin) suffers from an overbearing mother, Eleanor (Veronica Cartwright), and his own idiosyncrasies, and when Eleanor takes it upon herself to arrange a courtship between her son and a senator's daughter, the cards are not stacked in his favor. The deadpan hilarity that ensues is reminiscent of Mike White's (CHUCK&BUCK) dark comedy, with Nicole Sullivan (KING OF QUEENS) and Lucas Haas (EVERYONE SAYS I LOVE YOU) in inspired supporting roles.
