Plot: When Muffy St. John invited her college friends up to her parents' secluded island home for the time of their lives, she forgot to tell them it might be the last time of their lives. Because as soon as the kids arrive on the island, someone starts trimming the guest list... one murder at a time. And what starts out as a weekend of harmless April Fool's Day pranks turns into a bloody battle for survival. When wealthy Muffy St. John (Deborah Foreman, VALLEY GIRL) invites her college friends up to her parents' secluded island home for Spring Break, they all accept, and arrive expecting a weekend of sun and sex. Things are fine at first, but when one of the guest goes missing, the weekend takes a turn for the worse and only get more horrible from there. But as bodies begin to pop up left and right, the guest have to remind themselves that Muffy always was a big practical joker--the trouble lies in trying to determine what is real and what isn't! A who's who of 1980s teen films, including Amy Steel (FRIDAY THE 13TH 2), Clayton Rohner, and Deborah Goodrich (both of JUST ONE OF THE GUYS) leads the cast of this gory, darkly comic cult

...this film has a lot more comedy and mystery to it rather than gory murders, but it still comes off as really scary and enjoyable. Not everyones kind of movie, but I found it to be way above average. Check it out.--Ian Button (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
I would have enjoyed the film more if it had a different ending and there were more scares, but other than that it's not bad. ... This isn't your basic 80s slasher film. It is a bit predictable towards the end, but fun to watch. Check this film out if you haven't already. 7/10-- (UHM)
I've always had a soft spot for this one and I can't be the only one as it's gathered a small cult following over the years. Not nearly the slash-a-thon the F13th movies are (in fact it's almost halfway in before any sort of death) this goes for a more mystery angle and keeps the murders off-screen which is okay because it has okay character development, a likeable enough cast and a twist at the end that's pretty good even if it's quite predictable. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
The movie goes forward with amazingly formulaic plotting that manages to be both predictable and nonsensical simultaneously. Bonus points for the ending, but the whole thing is still just annoying. --Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)

Incredibly weak slasher film from Paramount Pictures. A college student invites some of her friends to her parents' secluded island home. A psycho killer starts killing them off, one by one. Nothing to report here—just that this movie sucks.-- (eSplatter.com)
Not for gore fans, but a fun and entertaining 80s horror flick with a fun sense of humor, likable cast, some suspense and several good plot twists. --Slicer-dicer (SlasherPool)
