Plot: Released from a prison for insane criminals, an autistic man named Manny (Lou Diamond Phillips) heads back to Reno. Finding employment as the clerk of the Hotel El Cortez, Manny makes friends with an eclectic crew including Popcorn (Bruce Weitz), a crippled prosecutor seeking Manny's help in securing a fortune.
