Plot: Arthur returns, this time in a Park Avenue apartment, and tries to sober up. His wife finds she is infertile and wants to adopt a baby; but Arthur is unsuccessful at sobriety and he loses his home and money, and is thoroughly unsuited for any job. Meanwhile, the father of the girl he stood up at the altar in the first film is trying to find a way to trick Arthur into marrying his daughter so that hec an access Arthur's $750 million fortune.
