It would be an undeserved compliment to call the plot a tissue that barely supports the hackneyed, over-the-top special effects and incessant preening of the superstar protagonists, who barely display any emotion let alone relational chemistry. It's worse than Hollywood formula, flitting awkwardly between pseudo-realistic "Bourne"-style spy drama, James Bond fantasy, and domestic comedy. Less than halfway through, I was beyond caring who was who, what was what, or who won, although I was able to distract myself somewhat by counting the product plugs. If you must go, try loading your iPod with something interesting to listen to. | | 53 months ago | Friday Jun 24, 2005, 7:55 PM |

Movies are to be fun and an escape from reality. On my part (husband), I love seeing the governments people offed! LOL Still, we go to be entertained and that is it. Don't care about acting, realism, etc. Only fun. Don't like unhappy endings either!!!! (unless it is expected) We also don't pay 12-15 bucks a ticket either, just to put it in prospective, nor will we ever. | | 53 months ago | Sunday Jul 10, 2005, 2:42 AM | |
