Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter Reviews

external linkProbably the best thing about The Final Chapter is that it keeps in mind that the film's target audience just wants to have fun - and this movie does not make any attempts at taking itself seriously. ...even though it isn't incredibly obvious that humor is the intent, as it very well might not be, the viewer has to keep in mind that this is all for fun. external linkOh, boy. Talk about a grind. Here we go again, with the group of generic "teenagers" in a generic partying situation who are killed in a bunch of generic ways. ... This one actually does try to get us to know the characters, but they all suck, so it's tono avail. [read review] 19/100
--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
external linkPretty routine stuff but there is a cool hacksaw death, a harpoon gun in the genitals that's pretty rockin' and always weird Crispin Glover not only doing an unintentionally hilarious dance scene but getting knocked-off real good by Jason. [read review] 2/4

external linkThe fourth installment is one of the darker and grimmer additions to the series and you do actually pity these people because Jason really doesn't show any sign of remorse for his actions. [read review] 5/5
--Steven (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
external linkImprovement over the last two in the series... We finally get what is supposedly our first real look at the infamous Jason -- without his mask. [read review]
