Plot: After his wife is murdered, Persian King Ahasuerus (Richard Egan) chooses Esther (Joan Collins), a Jewish woman, to be his bride. But Esther faces a severe test when she and other Jews are required to renounce their faith. Based on the Old Testament, this epic recreates the tale which is the basis for Purim.
