Tagline: Some people are just better off dead
Plot: In this unusual tale of the dead returning to the world of the living, a teenaged girl is killed by her abusive father. Her grief-stricken friend implants his robot's brain into her body. This proves unscientificly sound as the undead girl begins murdering people, and the junior inventor has to stop her.

While this makes okay viewing and Swanson does alright in her role this is one of director Wes Craven's more average flicks that suffers from some plot holes, some dopey nightmare sequences ... and a pretty junky finale.
The characters aren't deep enough to allow us to be interested in them as people, and the writing glosses over such issues as child abuse; at times, the film seems to be some kind of twisted, ineffective after-school special.
