Tagline: The writers of alien... ...bring a new terror to earth.
Plot: From the writers of ALIEN, this thriller is the story of a mysterious coastal town called Potters Bluff. For years the town has harbored a dark secret, one that the town sheriff has just stumbled across. It seems that a number of strangers who have crossed through Potters Bluff have not only been brutally murdered, but have turned up in town as locals after being killed. Sure that there must be some explanation, the sheriff and the town mortician try to uncover the mystery and find something more shocking than they could have imagined.

This movie has that effect on people. So few have seen it, but those who have know the power of it.--Sonny Fernandez (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
A good underrated horror film to come out of the 80s. Somewhat of a zombie movie, but it's not your typical zombie film. These zombies are far different from the brain-eaters you usually see. Check this movie out if you can find it. 7/10-- (UHM)
"Dead and Buried" is a solid piece of horror entertainment -- the kind of bloodthirsty stuff that doesn't get made anymore.-- (eSplatter.com)
...has always been one of my favourite movies, due in part to its unforgettable opening sequence and its overall atmosphere. There's something about the town of Potter's Bluff that is genuinely macabre and unsettling. -- (slasherama.com)

Dead & Buried is an eerie and suspenseful horrormovie which sticks out from the rest of the zombie movies as it isn't packed with ugly, rotten zombies but with good-looking zombies, now that's not something that you see everyday. I personally thought thestory was a bit weak and predictable but other than that it's a pretty good movie. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
