Genre: Thriller, Horror, Monsters, Suspense, Murder, Gore, Drugs, Teenage, Animals
Tagline: Ever Feel like Something is Watching You?
Plot: A group of none-too-bright fraternity jocks packs it up and heads out into the grand American wilderness. Once there, they fool with Mother Nature in the worst way when they stumble across the eggs of a rare, vicious (and GIANT) crocodile. Soon, the killer croc is on a bloody rampage of carnage and destruction, and it's up to the locals, led by the sheriff, to stop the bustling beasty. Big animal horror from genre master Hooper, who covered similar evil amphibian territory in EATEN ALIVE.

"Crocodile" is a well-crafted and thrilling little film that should probably be seen by any horror fan out there who has been feeling a little let down by recent releases. Rather than attempting to be a goofy action film like "Placid", Hooper's film is straightforward scares once the titular character shows up.--Ted Geoghegan (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
...this is just one of the many creature themed horror flicks to assault our senses in the past year since producers obviously think us horror fans need a new fill of 'nature amuck' flicks. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Crocodile suffers from the same disease of undercharacterization that has befallen so many of its peers. If we don't care about the characters, we don't care when they get eaten by a crocodile ... a bore from start to finish; even the completely implausible sight of the crocodile taking flight failed to shake me from the stupor induced by this movie. 11/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)

...a poster child of almost everything that's wrong with horror today. Politically and environmentally correct and replete with some of the lamest computer-animation effects imaginable, this is definitely one for the books.-- (eSplatter.com)
Ultimately, there is nothing either original or technically ground breaking about this film but it does offer up a few cheap thrills along with some decent enough production values. 5/10--Vaughan Dyche (thefilmasylum.com)
