Plot: In the wee hours of the morning, Ed Saxon, literature professor for a small town university, lies awake in bed, his mind scattered as he anxiously waits for the arrival of his wife Eve. Panic fills his head as the clock ticks, he decides to telephone his wife's best friend, the local hospital and finally, the police. As the police investigate the situation, they stumble upon a journal, which uncovers a world of adultery and deceit.
