Paramount Pictures has acquired the comedy script "One Big Happy" with Steve Martin and Diane Keaton attached to star reports Variety.

"Party of Five" creators Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman are behind the project whose concept is being kept under wraps.

Sources describe "One Big Happy" as a family comedy about a couple and a family reconnecting amid various obstacles.

Martin and Keaton previously played a married couple in the Charles Shyer-directed "Father of the Bride" and its sequel.

Chris Keyser is presently planning to direct his script "Great Education". Lippman is scripting a feature adaptation of the Galt Niederhoffer novel "A Taxonomy of Barnacles" for Sony Pictures.
