A young vet (Benedict, THE A-TEAM), traumatized by his experiences in Vietnam and incapable of reintegrating into mainstream society, explodes into a homicidal rage when a gang of small town thugs try to shake him down. He soon becomes the focus of a deadly countywide manhunt, with only Jenny Bellows (Blair, THE EXORCIST)--a small town girl whose husband went missing in action during the war--for an ally. Released in 1981, one year prior to Stalone's similarly themed FIRST BLOOD.
