Plot: A successful lawyer named Robert Woodfield (Roberts) is the sole eyewitness to a murder committed by a former client. After a losing battle with his conscience, he employs a friend from the District Attorney's office to help assemble a case that will convict the murderer while concealing his association. Things get much more complicated when his friend is found murdered, and his wife is a prime suspect. When all legal efforts to bring the killer to justice are proven in vain, the lawyer resorts to taking matters into his own hands, and will stop at nothing to get his man.
