When a high-profile Senator (played by Ernie Hudson of GHOSTBUSTERS fame) boards a train at Union Station, he is expected a typical, smooth ride. However, his trip is violently interrupted when a militia group hijacks the train, taking him and several other passengers as hostages and planting a nuclear bomb somewhere on board. An intrepid ATF Agent (THE LAWNMOWER MAN's Jeff Fahey) who happens to be a passenger on the train is the one man who just may be capable of both freeing the hostages and defusing the bomb before time runs out.

As a train leaves Union Station in L.A., a militia team comes in and hijacks the train. The Senator (Ernie Hudson) and other passengers are taken hostage and a nuclear bomb is planted. An ATF Agent (Jeff Fahey) is on board, and fights to save the hostages and defuse the bomb. It's a race against time as the agent must defeat the militia and prevent total destruction.
