Screen Daily reports that the next "Rambo" is scheduled to film at Nu Boyana Studios in Sofia, Bulgaria.

According to the trade, the studios are presently building ten new sound stages, and this fifth 'Rambo' will be the first film booked to use the new spaces.

Sylvester Stallone has been coy about chances of another John Rambo film since the release of "Rambo" back in January, saying only that he hoped to take the character into a "slightly different genre" next time if it were to happen.

The Bulgarian shoot also puts a big question mark over talk that the character would return to America in the next film.
