The movie resembled a movie made by an 8 year old with some cash to blow, horrible effects and the most boring ass stupid plot you'll ever see!!! --Brad (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
A sad addition to the zombie genre. Had potential from the start, but the silly plot and "master zombie" ruined it all. Not recommended. 2/10-- (UHM)
Acted without flourish and with a main zombie villian who just likes to skulk around in the bushes and snarl; this is one junky zombie 'comedy'. ... One lame-o finale and a really rotten line 'avoid contact with their teeth' doesn't help either. Pretty lousy. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Some excellent zombie killing at the beginning of the film courtesy of horror legend Tom Savini tricked me into thinking this was going to be a low-budget zombie-ass-kicking fest. Um, no. 31/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
A terribly written and directed movie, "Children" only shines during the brief moments when there are actually zombies on screen.-- (eSplatter.com)
