This cartoonish collection of disposable deaths fails to register any emotional connection with the viewer at all. Its bonk-on-the-head homages to Alfred Hitchcock's "Rope" aside, "R.S.V.P." is little more than a cheesy serial killer flick for the MTV/"Survivor" set. It's certainly nothing to die for. -- (FilmThreat.com)
The structure of the film is also bizarre: a key event is revealed towards the end, by which time only a retard could not have surmised this already. In fact, having this revelation earlier would have made more sense. --James O'Ehley (Movie-Gurus.com)
R.S.V.P. is most infuriating because you can sense that underneath all of the garbage, that Galluzzo is an intelligent and talented guy. This only makes the tendency to lose his ambition to make a great film that much more annoying, and if the liberal amount of pot and booze that is passed around throughout the movie isn't the real thing, I would actually be surprised. --Vince Leo (Qwipster.net)
Writer/director Mark Galluzzo expends a lot of energy on devising creative deaths for his cast, to the point where the actual "story" gets lost in the shuffle. It's part of his attempt to misdirect us, in the classical style of Hitch, but rather than generate any real suspense it just gets in the way of all the killin'. --Christopher Null (FilmCritic.com)

R.S.V.P.'s biggest problem is that it's too "hip" for its own good. It is so postmodern that it feels passé before it even finishes unspooling, and it is hard for viewers to invest themselves fully into its story when there's nothing in which to invest. Its cast is uncaring, its twist trite. Though writer/director Galluzzo shows potential, R.S.V.P. is one party any discerning horror renter is going to want to skip.--John Dedeke (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
A good direct-to-video with a simple plot and a nice young cast and interesting performances. Has nods to Hitchcock and similarities to American Psycho and Scream. Check this baby out. 6/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
What a great job by Mark Anthony Galluzzo! Very stunning camera work for R.S.V.P He has a bag full of tricks, most very prehistoric, but he uses them perfectly. --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
