Plot: Police detective Rita Cates goes out on a ledge when a murder investigation implicates her ex-lover Sam McKern, a former cop-turned-wealthy businessman. She rekindles the affair, only to find that she still feels intense guilt over her husband's suicide -- which took place after he learned about her relationship with Sam. In addition, Rita starts suspecting that Sam may truly have committed the two murders. Now she has put her emotions on hold and try to uncover the truth.
