 Implausible, loaded with cliches and pretty senseless which just adds to its cheesy charm. McConaughey camps it up big-time and is very entertaining in a role he disowned. This is destined to be a cult classic. I love it, but for way different reasons than I love the original.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
You suck, Kim Henkel. It's my understanding that this pic wasn't even slated to enjoy a widespread release at all, it's so god-awful, but it garnered a re-release after Zellweger and McConaughey's careers took off.-- (eSplatter.com)
