Plot: Based on the manga by Masamune Shirow (GHOST IN THE SHELL), BLACK MAGIC M-66 is a futuristic thriller about two military android assassins, M-66s, who escape from a government complex. Though the government tries to keep the situation quiet, a freelance journalist named Sybel catches on to the story and finds that one of the androids is trying to murder the granddaughter of its creator. A masterfully crafted suspense tale, BLACK MAGIC M-66 also features incredible animation and character design, exemplified by the creepy, feminine M-66 androids, that are the trademark of legendary manga artist Shirow.
