DENNIS FARINA, who plays the role of Carpo, the man who is absolutely certain he understands women, in Sidewalks of New York previously co-starred with Edward Burns in Steven Spieberg's Saving Private Ryan. He currently is in production filming Uncle with Megan Mullally and Tom Green. He recently co-starred with Brad Pitt and Benicio del Toro in Guy Ritchie's comic crime drama Snatch. He also stars with Tim Allen, Rene Russo and Stanley Tucci in Barry Sonnenfeld's suspense comedy Big Trouble.
Farina's other screen credits include Steven Soderburgh's Out of Sight, Barry Sonnenfeld's Get Shorty, Carl Reiner's That Old Feeling, Martin Brest's Midi~ight Run, and two of Michael Mann's films, Manhunter and Thief Farina is a veteran of Chicago Theater, appearing in productions directed by Joseph Mantegna, John Malkovich and Gary Sinise.
