 Failed effort from director John Carpenter has a good central idea but can't pull it off due to a script that goes nowhere fast and piles on feeble attempts at humour, overdone violence and a big slice of misogyny. ... Woods does seem suited to his role but even he can't do a thing with this. Some okay gore if that means anything. Another misfire from Carpenter. [read review]
