Plot: As a child, May (Angela Bettis) had a lazy eye and had to wear a patch, which kept other children from befriending her. Her mother gave her a handmade doll, which became her only companion. This is a good rent for those of you who are looking for more of a good story than just simple blood and guts. ... A good rent if you're lookin' for a horror flick with a good story and interesting performances. 7/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
This is a film that will stick with you and it's a testament to McKee's originallity with his story, the excellent acting by the cast and the fact that, when all is said and done, the best horror films are the ones that are anchored in reality and mentally draining. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
With an infinitesimal budget but an excellent Hollywood cast, director Lucky McKee crafted an excellent character-driven psycho-play. The real credit for the film's success probably belongs to Bettis, a great actress who looks like she was born to play in horror.-- (eSplatter.com)

All in all, I feel McKee did a brilliant job of creating an emotion behind the characters, especially May, which made this movie something special. When a movie is ending and you wish you could have more, its definitely something worthy of noting. --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
