Plot: A horror portmanteau directed by two of Bangkok's most exciting directors, BANGKOK HAUNTED takes off from a trio of young women sitting in a trendy bar and discussing their experiences of the paranormal. The first two segments are directed by Pisut Praesangeam. In "Legend of the Drum," an antiques dealer comes into possession of an old drum and soon after starts having strange dreams and hearing a woman's voice. Upon investigation she learns the story of the drum, which entails a flashback to the unfortunate life of a boy named Gnod, whose unfortunate love for his sister and even more unfortunate appearance led to a lasting curse. "Black Magic Woman" is the tale of Pan, a lonely young woman who turns to a miraculous love potion in order to seduce men. It works like a charm, until the side effects begin to emerge. The last segment, "Revenge," is directed by Oxide Pang (THE EYE), and follows a detective investigating the death of a young woman. Although she is believed by the rest of the force to have been a suicide, the detective finds himself compelled to look deeper into the case, perhaps guided by a force beyond the

external linkIt wasn't as good as I thought and I found it a little longer than it should have been. Worth a check if you're a fan of Asian horror, but don't bother if you're looking for another The Eye. 6/10
