Plot: After surviving a car crash that killed her boyfriend (Casey Affleck), Cassandra (Melissa Sagemiller) finds herself haunted by his ghost. A priest (Luke Wilson) tries to exorcize these frightful visions from Cassandra's mind, but her college friends see her vulnerability as the perfect outlet for their malicious plans. She tries to carry on her life like all the other college freshmen, but it unravels when she begins to believe she is being stalked. A movie that doesn't know if it's a slasher of something supernatural. Boring in many parts and left me confused throughout most of it. Don't waste your time with this. 5/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
This is one sad teen horror/thriller. Delayed from release a year and eventually cut down by distributor Artisan to obtain a PG-13 rating this feels like a wannabe Jacob's Ladder for the under 20 crowd and it fails miserably at it.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)

SOUL SURVIVORS was the most surprising horror entry I have seen in a long time. Although it was merely a modern update of JACOB'S LADDER, SOUL SURVIVORS was more than four pretty teenagers running from a masked stalker. The film is a lot more spiritual.  --Kyle Willis (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
