With minimal horror elements for the first third and a mild sense of humour this tries its best but is only marginally sucessful with a pace that’s fine but has way too many cheesy moments and not enough pure horror to please fans of the original.
Sometimes funny, but far too scattershot to be the great horror-comedy it wants to be. ... There is also no buildup to the climax--it just happens. 44/100
--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
The focus is completely on jokes—and lame-ass jokes at that. ... In the end, there's nothing to cheer about in this flick. Skip it.
