The originals writer Blatty tries his hand at bringing the series back to life only to crank out this extremely boring film that has you waiting for something exciting or at least entertaining to happen, but it never delivers. Disjointed mess. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
"Exorcist III" feels awkwardly paced. The story is confusing. Only one of the scares delivers any real shock value.-- (eSplatter.com)
The scenery was great at creating the mood, the hosptial rooms where very creepy and gothic. The script was fantastic for a third film in what seemed to be a dying franchise. It was filled with good diologue and great lines. But most of all, I think sounds effects carried this movie, just like the original I really wish I could have checked this one out at the theater. --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
