White Noise Reviews |
Although many may disagree, I found the movie to be pretty interesting. Very slow-paced with little in terms of scares, but a solid story with a nice performance by Keaton. Worth a check if you're into ghost flicks or something that isn't all about the scares. [read review] 7/10 --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
White Noise tries to do a lot of things, but only some of them come off as strong as they should. Is this a straight horror film? Is it a murder mystery? Ultimately I think it's a bit of both. [read review] --Uncle Creepy (horrorchannel.com)
Overall the movie is a pretty cool one on the lines of The Sixth Sense but very original indeed. It had its own style and it delivered the best corner of the ghost world, EVP. [read review] -- (terrorwatch.net)
Geoffrey Sax, a British television director making his theatrical debut, lavishes enough craft on the paranormal thriller to send more than a few chills down the spine. [read review] --Kirk Honeycutt (Hollywod Reporter)
The film was working well as a thrill, yet the last 1/4 of the film and the conclusion become confused and sporadic as the momentum and flow of the film is lost. [read review] --Von Kallenbach (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
What might have been a rote horror exercise becomes instead a twitchy, mannered, often amusing rote horror exercise. [read review] --Scott Brown (Entertainment Weekly)
An unsatisfying supernatural thriller with an effectively unsettling build-up and a frustratingly muddled pay-off. [read review] --Joe Leydon (Variety)
