Plot: Canadian director David Weaver fashions a twisted take on family values in his blackly comic indie satire SIBLINGS. When their beloved grandfather dies, a quartet of eccentric stepsiblings--responsible older brother Joe (Alex Campbell); promiscuous teen Margaret (Sarah Gadon); and precociously morbid youngsters Danielle (Samantha Weinstein) and Pete (Andrew Chalmers)--face not only the death of their only loving family member but the possible loss of their inheritance at the hands of their evil stepparents (Nicholas Campbell and Sonja Smits). When Joe conveniently disposes of the parental units in a carefully orchestrated "accident," the siblings attempt to cover up the crime in a series of darkly humorous adventures that play out like a modern version of THE ADDAMS FAMILY.
