Hill Harper in Skulls, The (2000)

HILL HARPER (Will Beckford) recently starred in In Too Deep, opposite Omar Epps, L.L. Cool J and Nia Long. His other feature film credits include Jonathan Demme's Beloved, as well as Spike Lee's He Got Game with Denzel Washington and Get On The Bus.

Harper received accolades for his performance in HavPlenty, and he can also be seen in the critically-acclaimed feature Zooman, starring Louis Gossett Jr. and Charles S. Dutton; Full Court Press with Ellen Burstyn; Blankman, with Damon Wayans; Steel; and the acclaimed One Red Rose, which he also co-wrote for Showtime.

Harper began acting at the age of 7 and continued through college where he graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also earned two graduate degrees from Harvard University while a full-time member of Boston's Black Folk's Theatre Company, one of the nation's oldest and most respected African American trav eling theatre troupes.

Harper is currently starring as Wesley Walker, an eager, young resident at an inner-city hospital in Steven Bochco's new medical drama for CBS, City of Angels, opposite Blair Underwood and Vivica A. Fox. He was also featured in the mini-series Mama Flora's Family. His other television credits include a series lead on Live Shot and guest spots on numerous series including ER, NYPD. Blue, Murder One, The Fresh Prince of BelAir and Married... With Children.

Harper can next be seen in Jordan Walker Pearlman's The Visit, with Phylicia Rashad and Billy Dee Williams; The Nephew, starring Pierce Brosnan; Kwyn Bader's Loving Jezebel; and the boxing film Box Marley, written by and co starring Christopher Scott Cherot.
