Mediocre follow-up to an equally mediocre original ... nothing much really happens here, the story drags... Hard to decide which of the series is the better one - I'd rather just leave it at they're both pretty darn skippable. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
"Dracula 2" suffers from a low budget, which means less action. But things do pick up toward the end, and we get some cool moments... "Drac 2" ain't bad, it ain't good.-- (eSplatter.com)
Overall, Ascension was a really fun movie, filled with tons of interesting characters, blood, and a great feel. --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
Not as good as the first. Dull for the most part, because the action doesn't pick up until towards the end. Worth a check if you're a fan of the first. 5/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)

A killer vampire flick for the vampirefan, but average to me as I generally don't like vampire movies very much. Still, I did like this more than I thought that I would and I was very pleasantly surprised. I think everyone should have a go with this one, well, everyone who enjoyed Dracula 2000 anyway. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
