Cold Creek Manor is one of those cases of the trailer making it look a whole lot scarier than it actually is. --Kit Bowen (Hollywood.com)
In this predictable Mike Figgis thriller, Sharon Stone and Dennis Quaid buy a cute old country house. Then the creepy guy with the bed-head 'do shows up!--Stephanie Zacharek (Salon)
"Cold Creek Manor" completely lacks thrills and is short on suspense because the story doesn't allow for any plot twists or new revelations. Wait, scratch that. Some new things are discovered but if I were to reveal them then the mystery would be given away. Please don't interpret that last sentence as an invitation for you to see the film and see for yourself. 3/10--Scott Spicciati (Movie-Vault.com)
It's interesting that the folks behind Cold Creek Manor's marketing campaign are trying to trick people into thinking it's a mystery/thriller, somewhere along the lines of The Sixth Sense, because it's really not. At all. --David Nusair (Reel Film Reviews)
A clichéd, implausible thriller set in the small town tranquility of upstate New York, Cold Creek Manor stars Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone as the Tilsons, a pair of Manhattanites who trade in their apartment for a pad in the sticks. --Jamie Russell (BBC Films)
The whole reminded me a lot of THE HAUNTING, with a somewhat decent, somewhat creepy start and apparent goal to transform into a real thriller, while ultimately fizzling out into your typical man-on-the-vengeful-warpath scenario, stupid moves and all. 4/10--'JoBlo' (JoBlo.com)
