Plot: Director Rich Ragsdale joins in the 1970s horror revival (HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES, CABIN FEVER) with his supernatural scarefest THE CURSE OF EL CHARRO. Looking for respite from the stresses brought on by her sister's suicide, Maria (Mia Hoyos) travels to a remote desert home with three of her female college friends. Unbeknownst to them, the place is haunted by the evil spirit of a vengeful ghost known as El Charro (Andrew Bryniarski, who played Leatherface in the 2003 remake of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE). Motorhead's Lemmy makes a cameo appearance as a priest.

A decent low-budget flick. Although the story is predictable, thanks to Rich Ragsdale interesting directorial effort, it manages to remain interesting none-the-less. 6/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
Pretty entertaining slasher flick which will not only entertain teenyboppers, but also the hard to please horror fanatics such as myself. It's definitely worth a shot so don't miss this one. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
