FeardotCom Reviews |
"Feardotcom" is a movie that you should avoid at all costs. If "The Ring" and its Japanese counterpart never existed, this sad excuse of a movie would still be well, well below average. But with the previously mentioned movies vastly gaining respect and notoriety all over the world, "Feardotcom" stands as an abomination. [read review] --Jason Chisari (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
This is sadistic, mean, senseless and misogynistic and loaded with unpleasant production values and a head scratching script. It's not that the visuals stink it's the story writer Josephine Coyle has put together. [read review] -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
In all, this was one of the biggest disappointments of 2002. ... The real flaw of this film is that it took itself way too seriously, something that “House on Haunted Hill” definitely did not do. Pass on this one. [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
Ultimately, this isn't scary (a little girl with a bouncing ball? Oh, do stop with that imagery) and it isn't particularly nasty, as punches are decidedly pulled when it comes to the Doctor's handiwork. [read review] -- (slasherama.com)
FeardotCom wants us to think there's some sort of connection between the characters, but it's a ludicrous idea, backed by nothing in the script. [read review] 21/100 --Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
Very disappointed in this film. No scares, but good dark atmosphere. A decent rent if you're bored, but don't expect much. [read review] --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
