With starring roles on television and feature film, COLIN HANKS (Preston) is quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most sought-after new leading men. Hanks is set to begin production on The Great Buck Howard, opposite Kevin Kline and directed by Sean McGinly. Hanks plays Troy Gable, an aspiring writer who takes a job as a tour manager for an aging magician know as “The Great Buck Howard.” Hanks will also be seen in the indy drama Alone With Her, written and directed by Eric Nicolas.
Hanks film credits include Paramount’s Orange County, directed by Jake Kasdan and produced by Scott Rudin and MTV Films. Hanks was also seen in Miramax’s comedy Get Over It with Kirsten Dunst. Additional film credits include Standing Still, Rx, 11:14, Whatever It Takes and Steven Spielberg’s 10-part mini-series Band of Brothers for HBO.
In 2002, Colin appeared to critical acclaim in the theatrical production of This Is Our Youth, by Ken Lonergan at the Garrick Theater in London’s West End.
