COLE HAUSER (Bo Laramie), after playing supporting roles in nearly 20 feature films, makes his lead acting debut in PAPARAZZI.
Hauser began his motion picture career in 1992 in Robert Mandel’s “School Ties,” opposite Brendan Fraser. He followed that with roles in films such as “Dazed and Confused,” “Higher Learning,” “Good Will Hunting” and “The Hi-Lo Country.” He starred opposite Alison Lohman in “White Oleander” and won a Breakout Young Male Star award for his portrayal of the love interest to Robin Wright Penn.
In “Pitch Black,” Hauser began a string of four films with military themes, also including “Tigerland,” for which he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award, “Hart’s War” and “Tears of the Sun.” Hauser recently starred in John Singleton’s “2 Fast 2 Furious,” in which he played the villainous Carter Verone, opposite Paul Walker, Tyrese and Eva Mendes.
Hauser just completed work on director Bruce Hunt’s “Prime Evil,” set for release in 2005, in which he also plays the lead role. “Prime Evil” tells the story of a group of professional divers, led by Hauser, who become trapped in the depths of an underwater cave network and must battle the unknown to save their lives.
Hauser’s television credits include a recent arc on “ER” and a series regular role on the critically-acclaimed police drama “High Incident.”
