From the Back Cover
John McWhirter (Fred Ward) is a hard-drinking reporter whose award-winning career is slipping away. But, he's just been handed the story of a lifetime and his editor (Virginia Madsen) wants the scoop. A group of radicals he helped send to prison for the failed bombing of an ROTC center want him to safeguard a beautiful fugitive (Rachel Ticotin). Posing as a Peruvian rebel, she's actually a Palestinian operative, tied to the killing of a pro-Israel media mogul. McWhirter is pursued by a relentless FBI agent (Christopher Plummer) and an enigmatic assassin (Penelope Ann Miller). As the pulse-pounding action builds to an astonishing climax, McWhirter must fight for both the woman he loves and the story of a lifetime... and he hopes he doesn't have to choose between them.
