STEVE-O, over the course of his rather hazardous existence, has encountered a great degree of difficulty in getting public exposure for his unique talents -- except from the skateboard sect, that is, where he landed a number of video segments based purely on his shock value, alone. Ever since, Steve-O has found a suitable halfway house with "Jackass." There, he has secured a spotlight for his remarkable skills, all of which pretty much boil down to going where no other man would ever care or want to go.
"When something is a little too gross for anyone else, we give that one to Steve-O," says Johnny Knoxville. "He’s actually pretty coordinated and halfway talented. He was trained as a circus clown for Ringling Brothers. So Steve-O is definitely our ace in the hole."
