Love Among the Ruins (1975)

Following production of TRAVELS WITH MY AUNT and the 55 previous feature films that had made the director a Hollywood legend, LOVE AMONG THE RUINS was George Cukor’s first made-for-television movie, and he went all out to give the film the star power and production values of a feature project. Hepburn, who had previously worked with Cukor on previous films, including THE PHILADELPHIA STORY and ADAM'S RIB, and Olivier, who reportedly needed special coaxing from both Hepburn and Cukor to lend his estimable skills to the project, glide together through the film like expert ballroom dancers, making their one on screen pairing a sophisticated, graceful, unforgettable romp.
