BETTY THOMAS (Director) most recently directed the blockbuster hit Dr. Dolittle. Prior to that, she directed the audience and critical hit Private Parts, a motion picture chronicle of the life of Howard Stern. Her other credits include The Brady Bunch Movie and "The Late Shift," a docudrama detailing the Jay Leno vs. David Letterman quest for "The Tonight Show." For this HBO presentation, Thomas was honored with a Directors Guild Award.
Thomas won Emmy and CableACE Awards for comedy series directing for the HBO series "Dream On," which also brought her a Directors Guild Award nomination.
Tall Trees is her production company, formed with Jenno Topping as her partner in 1998. Besides 28 Days, they have produced Can't Hardly Wait and are now executive producing Charlie's Angels for Sony.
