MARK RUFFALO has acted in films, theater and television. His film credits include Committed (Lisa Krueger), Ride with the Devil (Ang Lee), 54 (Mark Christopher), Safe Men (Paul Todisco), and Fish in the Bathtub (Joan Micklin Silver), and Life Drawing.
Ruffalo's stage credits include "This is Our Youth" (written by Kenneth Lonergan and directed by Mark Brokaw for which he won a Lucille Lortel Award for best actor), Eric Bogosian's "Griller" (directed by Bob Falls), Justin Tanner's "Tent Show" and "Still Life with Vacuum Salesman," David Steen's "Avenue A" and "Waiting for Godot" and James Lapine's "The Moment When."
Ruffalo also co-wrote the screenplay for the independent film "The Destiny of Marty Fine," which was the first runner-up in the 1995 Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and has directed several plays and one-acts.
Trained at the distinguished Stella Adler Conservatory, Ruffalo made his theater debut in Avenue A at the Cast Theater. He continued his relationship with The Cast Theater, performing in several of Justin Tanner's award-winning plays, including "Still Life With Vacuum Salesman" and "Tent Show."
Ruffalo is currently shooting John Woo's Wind Talkers, and recently finished XX/AY.
