Plot: Arthur Kriticos (Tony Shalhoub) and his two children, Kathy (Shannon Elizabeth) and Bobby (Alec Roberts), have lost everything but each other. Jean (Kathryn Anderson), the wife and mother of the family, perished in a fire that left its survivors with nothing.Nothing, that is, until out of nowhere Arthur inherits a magnificent glass house from his mysterious, eccentric Uncle Cyrus. Made entirely of glass and steel, the house is a shining wonder of modern architecture, all dazzling open spaces and clean, sharp lines. As they explore their new home, admiring its elegantly etched glass walls, Arthur and the children can hardly believe their good fortune. What they don't know is that this house of light holds a dark secret within. The new tenants soon discover that something hideous is imprisoned behind those crystal-clear walls. They begin ominously shifting and reshaping the rooms as they slide, trapping the family and unleashing 13 ghosts - horribly disfigured by their deaths - to stalk them.  "13 Ghosts' uses almost no computer-generated effects, relies nearly completely on badass sets and nasty make-up to keep you watching, and dishes out some spectacularly gory demises. This flick was made for fans, but should sit well with most.--Ted Geoghegan (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
